Robert J. Stawicki
Robert J. Stawicki, 81, of Ewing passed away Thursday at Compassionate Care Hospice.

Born in Jersey City, he was a Ewing resident most of his life.

Mr. Stawicki was an engineer for Devro Incorporated, a division of Johnson and Johnson, in Somerville for over 30 years before retiring in 1984.

He was a former member of Knight of Columbus in both the Our Lady of Good Counsel and Incarnation Church Councils; served as a Boy Scout leader; was an avid camper and loved to dance with his wife.

His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mr. Stawicki was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Son of the late John and Mary Karski Stawicki, husband of the late Barbara H. Blasczak Stawicki, he survived by 1 – daughter, Barbara M. Elonis of Ewing; 5 sons and 4 daughters-in-law, Rob and Donna of Bricktown, John and Michelle of Fairless Hills, PA, Matthew and Kelly of Wellington, FL, Stephen and Terri of Brandon, FL and Andrew Stawicki of Ewing; 15 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; 1 sister and brother-in-law, Zita and Bill Price of West Palm Beach, FL; also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial service will be Tuesday 11AM at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing. The family will receive friends from 10AM until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Shrine, 512 West Saratoga St., Baltimore, MD 21201.
