Angelo Paratheras
Angelo Paratheras, 92, of Lawrenceville passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Capital Health System – Fuld Campus.

Born in Lemnos, Greece, he came to the United States at the age of 12 and resided in New York until 1964 when he moved to Lawrence Township.
He served his country proudly during WWII from 1941 to 1945 in the African-Italian Campaign as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army Signal Corp.
He was a commercial photographer for 40 years supervising the Commercial Lab Department of Vitaprint Corporation in New York, which serviced the motion picture industry.

He was a member of the St. George Greek Orthodox Church and served on the Board of Directors for several years. He was a member and past president of the St. George Senior Citizens Club as well as a member of the Order of Ahepa for 58 years.

Son of the late Nicholas and Cleoniki Paratheras, he was predeceased by his sisters, Fanny Paratheras and Chris Dolias. He is survived and will be missed by his loving wife, Mary Blazakis Paratheras, his loving daughter and son-in-law, Nicolette and Richard Hendricks, his adored grandchildren, John and Angela Hendricks, his sister-in-law, Anne Blazakis; his brother-in-law, George Dolias; niece Elaine White and her husband Tom, his nephew Nicholas; his cousin, Steve Laspalakis and his wife, Penny, and many other cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Tuesday 11:30am at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Hamilton. Visiting hours are at the church Tuesday from 10am until time of service. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
