Bertha A. Varadi, 88, of Hamilton passed away Saturday at Hamilton Continuing Care Center.

Born in Freehold, she was a Trenton resident most of her life.

A devout catholic and homemaker, Mrs. Varadi loved music and cooking but her greatest pleasure came from singing and dancing.

Mother of the late Ernest Varadi, Jr., and sister of the late Joseph, Peter, Steve and Bill Yorkus, she is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ernest; her two daughters and son-in-law, Ellen Varadi and James Fetterhoff of Washington DC, and Joan Varadi of San Rafael, CA; also nieces and nephews including Vincent Yorkus.

The funeral service will be held today at 4:30pm at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Ave. Hamilton. Visiting will be from 2pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. There is no burial.
