Elizabeth H. Dorety
Elizabeth H. Dorety, 90, of Trenton, passed away on Wednesday June 16, 2010 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis in Trenton.

Born in Trenton, Elizabeth was a life long Trenton resident.

She was an Educational Administrator for the Trenton Board of Education where she retired after 40 years of service. Elizabeth began her teaching career at Bordentown High School, then taught at Junior High School #1 where she became Vice Principal.

Elizabeth was a graduate of Trenton Central High School, a graduate of Trenton State Teachers College, and received her Masters Degree from Temple University. she was a life long member of Blessed Sacrament Church, member of the Trenton College Club, and a member of the American Association of University Woman.

Daughter of the late John P. and Elizabeth Miller Dorety, sister of the late Edith Dorety and Mary Ellen Filiaci, she is survived by her sister Jean Laczko of Ewing, one niece Regina Laczko, five nephews Christopher, Lawrence, Paul, Peter, and Mark Filiaci, and one great niece Zoë .

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church 716 Bellevue Ave in Trenton. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hamilton.
Calling hours will be Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of mass at the church. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Arrangements are by the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 935 Parkway Ave. in Ewing.
