Christina C. Beckman, 22, of Ewing passed away peacefully at home Monday in Poppy’s arms.
Christina is the loving daughter of Connie Beckman and the loving granddaughter of Jack and Diane Hitt.
Although Christina was sick throughout her life, she was a great teacher of life. Christina was fun-loving, intelligent, curious and fulfilled a variety of life’s passions. Life was never taken for granted and her heart was filled with laughter and peace.
Christina was inspired through her dreams and created a life of magical experiences for all to endure. She loved to travel. She had wonderful people who influenced and inspired her in Special Olympics where she bowled and played bocce. She was a volunteer at Progressive Learning Center for Independent Living and the Wildlife Center in Titusville. She performed in the play “Through Our Eyes.” Christina was truly passionate about being a member of the Trenton Elks 105. She went above and beyond being a part of her family and creating her family heritage. She had a great love for animals and leaves behind two cats, Mittens and Shadow.
Predeceased by her great grandparents, J. Raymond Riordan, Doris G. Riordan and Mary Jane Riordan, she leaves behind Uncle Jack and Aunt Linda Hitt, Uncle Brian Hitt. Her cousins, Brian II, Michael, Jackie III, Jacob and Kylie Hitt. She also leaves behind her “sister friend”, Suzi Hartnagel and special friend, Chris Freels.
Funeral Thursday 9am from the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing, Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Incarnation Church, Ewing at 10am. Cremation will follow at Ewing Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 6 – 8pm at the funeral home with the Trenton Elk service at 7:30pm. Visit www.murphyfh.com
