John C. Pover
John C. Pover, 77, passed away Monday at his home in Hamilton, New Jersey.
Born in Trenton, he was a life long area resident.

Mr. Pover retired from the Central Paper Company with many years of service.
He was an avid New England Patriots fan, a member of the Lenoxville Athletic Club, most recently enjoying and an LAC trip to Atlantic City. He enjoyed salt water fishing and especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Pover was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.

Son of the late Frank J. and Marie Pfaff Pover, Sr.; husband of the late Catherine S. Kaniewski Pover; father of the late Roberta Carlucci Rutherford, Kathryn Krakowski and John Pover junior; grandfather of the late Edward Krakowski and brother of the late Marie Lenart, he is survived by his children, Carole (Don) Toft, Louis Carlucci, Deborah (Richard) Rittenhouse, Mary (Bill) Corey and Marie (Dan) Flory; Loving Friend of Lisa and Rebecca Caldwell; 8 surviving grandchildren, David, Donna, Cherie, Terry, Regina, Richie, Mike and Julia; many great grandchildren; a sister, Fran Bodolosky; 3 brothers, Joseph (Ida) Pover, Richard (Sue) Pover, William (Judy) Pover; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00AM at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave. Hamilton NJ, 08619. Calling hours will be Saturday morning from 8:30 until time of service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Marie Flory to defray funeral costs would be appreciated.
