Adamantia Dogias, of Trenton, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 with her loving family by her side.Born in Andros, Greece, Adamantia immigrated to the United States in 1966, and has been a Trenton resident for the past 51 years. She has been a life member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, its Philoptohos Society, the choir, the senior’s club, and participated with all the festivals.She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, and forgot no one. She valued friends and relatives, and enjoyed family traditions and holidays.Daughter of the late Konstantinos and Kalliopi Vatis Stratis, and sister of the late Athanasios, Epaminontas, and Asimina, she is survived by her husband, Dimitrios Dogias of Trenton; a daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Dimitrios Grimanis of Hamilton; a son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Gina Dogias of Yardley, PA; four grandchildren Lee, Adam, Francesca, and Dimitri; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.Calling hours will be Thursday evening from 6-9 PM at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church 1200 Klockner Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.Donations in Adamantia’s memory may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
