Charles “Uncle Wes” Wyckoff, Jr., 63, formerly of Ewing, passed away on Sunday at his home in Moon Twp., PA.Born and raised in Ewing Twp. he moved to Moon Twp. last year.Uncle Wes was the fire inspector for Ewing Township for many years. He was also the former Assistant Chief of the Trenton Psychiatric Hospital Fire Department.A veteran of the US Army, avid hunter and fisherman, Uncle Wes was a life member of the West Trenton Volunteer Fire Company.Son of the late Elizabeth Pearl Balog and Charles W. Wyckoff, Sr., he is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy L Wyckoff; 3 sons, Chipper Scott Wyckoff of Levittown, Charles Wesley Wyckoff III of Moon Twp., and Brian Joseph Wyckoff of Levittown; 3 grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Poppy”, Ariel, Ethan and Allison Wyckoff.The family will receive friends at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing on Saturday from 9 until 11AM. Burial in Ewing Church Cemetery with the US Army Honor Guard will be at 11:30AM.
