Charlotte M. Cashel-Nurko, 86, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Sunday October 4, 2020 at Merwick Care and Rehab Center, Plainsboro, NJ Charlotte was a registered nurse and worked with the VNA of Delaware Valley. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church, Hamilton and very active with the Altar Rosary Society there. Charlotte was known as a wonderful baker and cook. She was a loving mother and grandmother as well. Her quiet dignity and grace will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Charlotte is pre-deceased by her loving husband, Arthur Nurko. She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law: John and Cindy Haney of Hopewell, NJ; William and Mary Haney of Larchmont, NY; James and Sharon Haney of Bermuda; her daughter and son-in-law Maureen and Scott Zielinski of Belle Mead, NJ; her sister Joan Barksdale of Beacon Falls, CT; and nine grandchildren: Dr. Nora Haney of Baltimore, MD; Charlotte Haney of Hong Kong; Deirdre Haney of Larchmont, NY; Brian Haney and Laura Haney of Hopewell, NJ; Olivia Haney and Frances Haney of New York City; and Jordon Zielinski of Ringoes, NJ and Andrew Zielinski of Belle Mead, NJ. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday October 8, 2020 at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08619. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday October 9, 2020 at Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church, E. State Street, Hamilton. Interment will follow at Princeton Memorial Park Cemetery, Robbinsville, NJ. In lieu of flowers, her family has requested memorial donations may be made in Charlotte's memory to Ennoble Hospice and Homecare, 1010 Haddonfield-Berlin Rd., Suite 404, Voorhees, NJ 08043.
