Eileen K. Peluso

October 18, 1937 - April 30, 2022

Eileen Kucker Peluso, a life-long Trenton area resident, passed away peacefully at home on April 30, 2022. The daughter of John and Hilda Kucker, Eileen was born and raised in Trenton, attending Blessed Sacrament, Cathedral High School and Trenton State College, where she was always top of her classes. Eileen worked for 38 years as teacher in the Trenton School District, including stints at Junior 3, Cadwalader, Kilmer, Robeson, Washington and P.J. Hill schools, where she was known for her dedication, energy, creativity, generosity and kindness toward her students. While teaching full time, Eileen obtained a law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law in her 50s, but continued to teach until her retirement. Eileen was a parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, West Trenton, for over 50 years, and a long-time member of the Trenton Country Club. She loved going out to dinner with her son at various Trenton area restaurants every week, and enjoyed going to the beach at Spring Lake, New Jersey, where her family had a summer residence in Spring Lake Heights for decades. Beloved and adoring mother of one child, her son, Matthew of Ewing, she always put the needs and happiness of others before herself. She is predeceased by her brother John Kucker and is survived by her son, two grandchildren (Olivia and Jack Peluso), and three sisters (Marianne Davies, Eleanor Libby and Joan Baldwin).
