James P. Ronan, 65, of Manassas, VA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 23, at Prince William Medical Center, after battling valiantly against colon cancer. He is predeceased by his father, James Ronan. He is survived by: his wife Sallie; his children Bridget (Christopher) Badeaux, Shannon, Katherine, and Patrick; his mother Rosemary; his brothers Thomas (Eileen) and Robert (Cindy); his sisters Mary (Francis) and Rosemary; and his 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Jim loved: reading, especially about history and current events; Star Trek; but most of all, his family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 4 at 11am at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, where Jim attended growing up, 626 S. Olden Ave., Hamilton, NJ 08629. Burial will follow at St.Mary's Cemetery in Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in his name be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. www.Stjude.org
