    Jeanette "Jean" Allen

    May 14, 1936 - June 25, 2021

    Jeanette "Jean" Margaret Allen , 85, of Trenton, passed away on June 25, 2021 at her residence with her loving family by her side. Born in Trenton to parents William and Clara Pangaldi, Jean was a resident of the area all her life. She created a beautiful life with her husband Lawrence (Larry) Allen whom she was married to for 58 years and had three loving daughters. Her whole life, she was devoted to Saint Anthony's Parish and worked in their schools and participated in the Saint Anthony Senior Citizen Club. During her retirement she devoted her time to Saint Anthony's Parish. She was a lifelong member of the Lenoxville Athletic Association and a former member of Cook AA. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was as an avid lover of Cape May. Jean was also obsessed with the New York Giants, so obsessed that you were not allowed to park in her driveway unless you were a fan of the NY Giants. Jean was predeceased in life by her parents William and Clara Pangaldi, her loving husband Lawrence J. Allen, and her brother-in-law Don Merrill. She is survived by her children and their spouses Lori and her husband John Bucci of Lansdale, PA, Lisa and her husband Kevin Ware of Trenton, NJ, and Lynn and her husband Armando Rivera of Leesburg, VA; her grandchildren John Bucci and his wife Danielle, Lauren Bucci, Anthony Bucci, Eric Bucci, Chelsea Ware, Christian Ware, Connor Ware, Brandon Rivera, Brianna Rivera, and Amanda Rivera (Ian Cohen); Great grandchildren Jack Bucci and Oakley Cohen; sister Claire Merrill; special friends Jack, Donna, Jenna, and Lea Brahan; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews; and her loving dog Corey. Funeral Mass and visitation will be held on Friday July 2 at Saint Anthony's Roman Catholic Church on South Olden Avenue Trenton, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects to Jean's family from 9:30 - 11:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial. All visitors are required to follow the COVID-19 requirements put in place by Saint Anthony's Church. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make memorial donations in Jean's name to the Trenton Catholic Preparatory Academy located at 175 Leonard Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
