    Mary L. Van Hise

    Mary L. Van Hise, 64, of Hamilton was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away Friday at Lourdes Specialty Hospital of Southern NJ, Willingboro.A huge fan of the Wizard of Oz and graduate of Steinert High School, she was an LPN working throughout the greater Trenton area. In 1977, along with her husband, she founded the Tender Heart Association, a non-profit organization serving the community including the military.Daughter of the late Michael J. and Florence P. Wolverton Gabryszewski, she is survived by her husband of 46 years, James F. Van Hise; her daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and John Ermi of Bordentown; her son and daughter-in-law, James M. and Suzanne Van Hise of Hamilton; her grandson, Michael F. Van Hise of Hamilton; 3 great grandchildren; 3 sisters and 1 brother-in-in-law, Catherine Van Hart of Hamilton, Florence (Punkin) Toboz of Trenton, and Barbara and George Rusnak of Hamilton; 1 brother and sister-in-law, William and Linda Gabryszewski of Hamilton; several loving nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Toto.The family will receive friends at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Ave. on Wednesday from 6 -9PM and Thursday from 10am until the funeral service at 11AM. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery's Mausoleum.Contributions in her name may be made to the Tender Hearts Association, 320 Scully Ave., Hamilton, NJ 08610.
