Norman Lee Fairall, 91 of Hamilton Square passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton with his loving family at his side. Born in Streator, IL he was the son of the late Earl and M. Irene Fairall. Norman lived with his family in Newport News, Virginia while he was stationed at Fort Eustis, Virginia, and then settled in Hamilton Township, New Jersey. Norman served our country honorably during the Korean and VietNam Wars retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 2 after 20 years of service. After his retirement from service he began a career at Princeton University where he was a Chief Boiler Operator retiring after 20 years. Norman loved watching baseball and football and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles. Most of all he loved spending time with his family taking day trips, playing poker and watching sports. Norman was predeceased by his wife Annette Patricia Fairall of 45 years in 2007 and two brothers, Richard E. and William L. Fairall of Illinois. He is survived by three daughters and son-in laws, Susan and Robert E. Gibbs of Browns Mills, Karen and Jack W. Wood of Hamilton and Patricia A. and Robert S. Redler of Burlington, his brother Stewart A. Fairall, sisters Janet E. Helland and Doris I. Peddicord, six grandchildren, Kelly Lynn and and her spouse Joseph W. McCollum III, Robert G. Bradford, Jr., Christina N. Wood, Michael J. Wood, Amanda L. Redler and Brad R. Redler and his great-grandson, Chase J. McCollum. Visitation services will be held in accordance with COVID guidelines, elderly and those at risk should practice proper precautions including wearing a mask and social distancing. All visitors are welcome and must abide by a mask requirement as mandated by the State of New Jersey. We ask those attending to please be considerate of the family and others wishing to pay respects. Friends and family are invited to gather on Thursday February 4, 2021 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 11:30 AM. Interment with full military honors will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations in Norman's memory are requested to the Disabled American Veterans of New Jersey at: www.davnj.org.
