Robert "Bob" Frank Kocsardy, 79, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, he resided in Ewing, prior to moving to Lawrenceville where he has lived for the past 10 years. Bob practiced for over 50 years as a pharmacist, owning and operating three stores -- the Pharm in Ewing, the Ringoes Pharmacy, and the West Trenton Pharmacy. He retired as coordinator of Pharmacy Services for the New Jersey Department of Human Services. He served as president of the Mercer County Pharmacists Society, and was the recipient of several New Jersey and national pharmacy recognition service awards. He will be remembered by his peers in the profession for his commitment to professional continuing education in pharmacy and medicine. He delivered hundreds of accredited medical and pharmacy continuing education programs to physicians, nurses, and pharmacists for over 40 years. Bob proudly served for 10 years in the New Jersey National Guard. Bob graduated from Trenton Catholic High School in 1955, and from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, University of the Sciences, in 1959. Son of the late Arpad Kocsardy and Margaret DeMarco Kocsardy, he is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara Parkinson Kocsardy; his son Jeffrey and his wife Margaret; and two daughters, Karen and her husband Marc Barbiero, and Jennifer and her husband Howard Nelson. He was a loving and caring grandfather to his three grandchildren -- Joshua, Koryn, and Claudia Rose. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 - 8pm and Saturday from 8:30 - 9:15am at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at Incarnation Church, 1545 Pennington Road, Ewing at 10am.
