Stanley Jedynak, Jr., 94, of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday May 29, 2013 at home.Born in Trenton, Stanley was a life long area resident.He was a supervisor for Trenton Water Works, where he retired after 37 years of service.Stanley was a veteran of the United States Army serving in WWII and belonged to the 753rd Tank Batallion.He was a graduate of Trenton High School, class of 1937, a member of the American Legion Post # 458, Hamilton Elks # 2262, and the Yapewi Aquatic Club.Son of the late Stanley and Pauline Vekebich Jedynak, Sr., husband of the late Evelyn Jedynak, father of the late Dennis Jedynak, and pre-deceased by three siblings, he is survived by one son Stanley Jedynak, III of Hamilton, Three grandchildren Dennis Jedynak (Dana), Kelly Gannon (Scott) , and Allison Prabhakar (Avi), three great grandchild Teagan and Matthew Ryan, and Ethan Prabhakar, one sister Viola Udy of Hamilton, two nieces, and several great nieces and great nephews, and a special friend Donna Rapcewicz.Funeral services will be held on Monday 11:00 a.m. at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton. Officiating will be Pastor Jeffrey Ugoretz of Christ Presbyterian Church in Hamilton.Burial will be in Ewing Cemetery, Scotch Rd. in Ewing.Calling hours will be Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
