    Thomas R. Miller

    Thomas R. Miller, 80, of Lawrenceville passed away on Thursday at the Lawrenceville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lawrenceville.Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.Mr. Miller’s career with AAA Trucking in Hamilton spanned 30 years before his retirement as the office manager.He was a graduate of Trenton Catholic High School ? Class of 1952 and served in the US Army during the Korean War.In his youth, he was the batboy for the Trenton Giants. His love of sports continued into adulthood as a fisherman and as a fan of both the NY Yankees and the Washington Redskins. Son of the late William Henry and Mary Elizabeth Purcell Miller, husband of the late Joan L. (Milichi) Miller, brother of the late Richard, William (Butch), Madeline Negley, Mercy Donoher and Patricia Cashel, father-in-law of the late Clifford J. Sheppard, he is survived by his children, Joanie Sheppard of Bordentown, NJ, Michael T. (Dorothy) Miller of Trenton, NJ and Lynn A. (Henry) Kush of Newtown, PA; three grandsons, Michael T. Miller, Jr., Grant and Reid Kush; two great grandsons, Nathan and Kyler Kush; his brother, Joseph Miller of Lawrenceville and many nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, NJ from 9:30am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.The arrangements are under the direction of the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org.
