Thomas M. “Tim” Ryan, Jr., 68, of Hamilton, passed away at home on Friday, March 10, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.Born in Trenton, Tim was a lifelong resident of Hamilton. He attended St. Anthony’s elementary school and high school, and received an associate’s degree from Thomas Edison State College.Most recently, Tim sold real estate at Richardson Commercial Realty. During his 40 year career, Tim was an executive for several Land Title Insurance companies in the Mercer County area and served as Chairman of the Mercer County Planning Board for 11 years. He was a member of the Trenton Ancient Order of Hibernians, American Legion Post 313, and the Hamilton JC Rotary Club.A Vietnam veteran of the US Army, Tim loved spending time with his family and friends. He was always the life of the party, telling jokes, sharing music, and living life to the fullest. Proud of his Irish heritage, he enjoyed movies, cooking and any type of gadget. He always looked forward to his Wednesday wine lunches with his closest friends, which they rightfully called “Tavolo Di Compagni” or table of friends. Tim was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Anne Jansen Ryan; his sister, Anne Marie Pental and brother-in-law Ray Pental, as well as his brother-in-law Horace M. (Marty) Streight. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Suozzi Ryan of Hamilton; two daughters, Heather and husband Gabriel Schill of Newtown, PA, and Tara Ryan-Schill and husband William Schill of Audubon, PA; one son, Thomas Andrew Ryan and wife Ashley of Hamilton; two step-daughters, Donna Marie and husband David Beagle of Fieldsboro, NJ, and Christine and husband Jerry Prete of Princeton, NJ. Tim was known affectionately as “Pops” to his 10 grandchildren, Gabriella, Declan, Andrew, Luke, and Jacob Schill, Michael, Grace, and Noah Prete, and Samantha and Mikayla Beagle. He also leaves two sisters, Mary Eileen Streight; and Margaret Ryan and husband Steven Lerner; a sister-in-law, Mary Smith and husband Frank; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Calling hours will be Thursday evening from 6?9 PM at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave, in Hamilton, NJ.Funeral will be held on Friday at 8:30 AM at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Gregory the Great Church on Nottingham Way in Hamilton Square.Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hamilton.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tim’s memory to CHOP Foundation P.O.
